Today I did Gilad’s total body workout.
I wanted to do P90X, you know how much I love it, but today my baby girl was awake. I usually do my workouts in my room. The DVD player in my living room doesn’t like to work very well when I put in my P90X DVDs, so I use the DVD player in my bedroom. Today I have a big stack of papers on the floor in my room that I didn’t want to move and with my baby girl who likes to eat paper awake and crawling around I decided it would be best to not bring her into my room to have a feast on my stack of papers.
Anyway…
I have a channel provided by my cable called fit tv. Its all fitness and good eating and athleticism all the time. So I turned it on and there was Gilad’s total body workout, just starting. So I turned up the volume grabbed some weights and got started.
I have always thought Gilad was a little weird, maybe its the fact that he wears a belt during his workouts, maybe its the way he say’s “body” all the time (with his accent it just sounds very sexy sensual) or maybe its just that he seems old fashioned. I don’t know, it doesn’t really matter, because today I gave Gilad’s total body workout a try and it wasn’t too bad.
It was a little harder on my knees than P90X is, but it did get my blood pumping and I could feel the burn of the work I was doing. It wasn’t the hardest workout ever and I felt like it needed to last a little longer than the half hour that it did (it was on TV though so…) but all in all I’d give it a thumbs up, and would definately do it again should the opportunity arise. ;D
