Imagine the worst has happened. An earthquake, tornado, flood, explosion, etc…
Suppose something along these lines happens and the members of your family are spread out in different locations. Do you have an emergency plan to deal with this?
Suppose phones are out including cell phones, you can’t call, you can’t text. What do you do?
An emergency plan is essential.
I think it is very important for each family to have an emergency plan. One that includes, a meeting place, a way to communicate if cell phones are unavailable, and specific people for little ones to go to if help is needed and Mom or Dad are not available. Would your kids know what to do and where to go if they found themselves alone in an emergency situation?
Plan ahead and be prepared and then pray that you will not need to make use of your emergency plan.
