Lifting

When lifting items off of the ground…

(Items you might be lifting may include, toys, clothing, toys, shoes, toys, food, toys, books, toys, kids, or anything heavy.)

…one really should bend at the knees not at the waist.

One could even go down in a low squat which will really work the quads, the buttocks and even the abs,

assuming you do it correctly.

If you’ve got little kids like I do, squatting to do your lifting will result in a fabulous mid morning, mid day, mid afternoon, or late night workout.
