Oh, did I not tell you?
On Friday I was rescued.
Rescued by my Prince Charming.
I was rescued by his side kick as well.
This youtube video could help clear up what I am talking about just a little bit.
Or it will at least provide you with a good laugh.
Thanks for rescuing me Phillip,
and thanks N8 (the side kick younger brother) for watching the kids for us :D

PS-We went and saw Inception, come check back on Friday for my review.
I don’t know that it is the ultimate weight loss workout, but I have changed my mind about it.
I’ve decided that I like Personal Training with Jackie.
Last week I decided to give it another try.
I needed to do some lower body weight training, and not having time to finish a P90X hour long workout I opted for Jackies 15 minute lower body workout.
You can opt out of one workout to do another you know.
I added some weights this time and I’ll tell you I was pretty sore the next day.
I got to thinking about why I didn’t think it was very hard the first time I experienced the so claimed ultimate weight loss work out.
I don’t really know, I just remember that after doing Jackies work outs for a week I just thought it was too easy for someone as “hard core” as me, lol!
Maybe sometimes it is too easy, too easy to be doing by itself with no other exercise involved.
However,
should you be a runner, a swimmer, or a cyclist, adding Jackies weight lifting program to your routine might just make your workout the ultimate weightloss workout .
Assuming you are even trying to lose weight.
(If you didn’t already know I prefer that people not even think about the weight loss and instead focus on the fitness)
Really though, weight training is a big part of weight loss.
Should you be doing a lot of aerobic exercise and you just aren’t seeing the results that you want you probably need to add weight training to your routine.
(I have talked about this before)
Jackies personal training would be perfect as it is only a 15 minute workout and could easily be done right before you head out for a run/swim/ride.
Be sure to use a weight that will give you some resistance and get really into the workouts.
Get low, lift high, work hard!
And of course enjoy every minute ;D
Tonight is supposed to be date night with my Phillip.
I have yet to see if it will actually come to pass.
I have it all planned out.
Dinner, movie.
It sounds lame, but it would be an absolute blast if you ask me.
Date night?
Is it gonna happen.
It all depends on whether we can get a babysitter or not.
Both grandparents (who happen to live within a 30 mile radius) are unavailable.
There are a couple of aunts and uncles around, but generally speaking it’s no easy task to make that arrangement.
The teenage girls in the area I simply don’t know well enough to trust with my kids.
(Yes, I know I really ought to get to know them, and let my kids get to know them, I just keep forgetting until the moment that I’d really need them.)
How will we ever make date night happen if we don’t have any one dependable around to watch the kids.
Many a marriage has suffered due to the lack of date nights.
I don’t want to be one of those marriages.
I want to go out on the town with my husband!
I want to go out every single week.
And yet even with all the available options around I am losing hope.
Waaaaaaa ha ha ha ha aaaaaahhhhhh!
Yep, thats me being a bawl baby about it.
I hope all you married folks that do have a babysitter will have some good one on one time with your honeys.
As for me, like I said, I’ll wait and see.

From the time she was born Phillip has wanted to pierce our baby girls ears.
From the time she was born I have have not wanted to pierce our baby girls ears.
Think about that term, pierce our baby girls ears!
PIERCE!
Why would we subject her to the kind of pain that is piercing?
The initial pierce really isn’t bad, but the weeks following.
The pain, the anguish, the cotton balls, and the hydrogen peroxide.
Clearly Phillip has never had his ears pierced.
I have, I know what I am talking about.
I know all about the sleepless nights.
I know all about the twisting of the stud as it rips what is trying to heal.
I know all about the swelling and discomfort.
And what if her ears were to get infected.
Oh the horror!
The painful awful horror ={
No, I do not want to subject our baby girls ears to that kind of pain.
The kind that is supposed to be voluntary.
Yes, sometimes beauty is painful.
I love having pierced ears, I really do, but it was a slow and painful path to get to the beauty part.
I will let my daughter make that decision when she is old enough to make it herself.
Until then, I told Phillip he could only pierce our baby girls ears if he gets his pierce too.
If she doesn’t have a choice then he doesn’t get to have one either.

Carrot, plump and pretty or shriveled and dried out?
Water makes the difference.
Cucumber, firm and juicy or dehydrated and wrinkly?
Water makes the difference.
Soil, smooth and moist , or cracked and deserted?
Water makes the difference.
Skin, elastic and pert , or dried out and flaky?
Water makes a difference.
So…
DRINK WATER !!!
Right now I feel dehydrated, mentally and physically.
Physically I can drink water, but mentally….
Mental hydration will take a lot more work.
I’ve talked about the importance of needing a break before.
I think now is the time, lol!

You know what show I love?
Disneys Phineas and Ferb .
Ok, I don’t know if it is actually Disneys Phineas and Ferb, but it comes on the Disney channel. So it must be Disneys Phineas and Ferb.
Either way, Phineas and Ferb is the cutest show ever.
Its funny and creative!
Its entertaining in a way that both my boys and I can enjoy it.
I find that it is not overly violent or scary.
I find that it is not promoting bad behavior or ignorance.
I love that Phineas and Ferb always come up with some smart creative way to spend their days.
There is of course a side story with their sister always trying to “bust them”, but it’s the comic relief.
On top of that there is another layer with Doofenshmirtz and Perry the platypus.
(To really know what I am talking about you have to watch the show)
Disneys Phineas and Ferb is a show that I will allow my kids to watch.
Today, Bear wanted to draw a food pyramid in the shape of the Eiffel tower.
How in the world did he know about the Eiffel tower?
I am certain that knowledge came from watching Phineas and Ferb.
The creativity in coming up with an Eiffel tower food pyramid, well, I think he learned that from Phineas and Ferb as well.
Lol!
It’s one show that I will be keeping around.
As long as they continue to keep the shows clean and creative.
For more about Phineas and Ferb go HERE .

**This post sounds a bit like a review, but it’s not. I wasn’t compensated in any way to write this post.
Going without sugar day 9.
I’ve made it this far without sugar.
I’ve been tempted more times than I can count.
The call to partake of that sweet substance has been strong.
But I’ve been stronger.
I even resisted my brother in laws chocolate cupcakes and homemade chocolate ice cream!
Difficult yes.
Impossible no.
9 days without sugar down, 22 to go.

The Lavender Doterra Essental oil
It just so happens to be amazing.
Doterra has many different essential oils to choose from, my favorite is the lavender!
I use Doterras Lavender Essential oil for relaxation.
It helps me fall asleep at night, it helps my kids fall asleep at night,
it calms me down from temper tantrums and it calms my kids down from their temper tantrums.
It works 90% of the time. It doesn’t work if the problem behind the stress is low blood sugars.
The thing I love most about Doterra Essential lavender oil is that it smells wonderful!
I mix it with my cetaphil lotion, I put it on and walk around blissfully.
(Only at night though because I fear it might put me to sleep if I put it on during the day because I really am that tired all the time ;)
It’s a bit expensive, but well worth it!
Check out Doterra Essential Oil website .
Get the lavender.

My husband doesn’t like vans.
Big surprise right, lol!
I’m not worried about him liking them though, because I am getting a 2011 Toyota Sienna!
I AM!
It’s all part of my plan.
Somehow, someway, sometime soon I will have one.
I can see it now, strapping my kids into my roomy new 2011 Toyota Sienna , without bonking my head on the roof.
I can see them all happily located in their own corners, unable to pinch or pull on each other.
I can see them climbing up and into the 2011 Toyota Sienna quickly and easily.
I can see myself sitting comfortably behind the wheel driving Bear to school.
I can see myself sitting comfortably behind the wheel driving to soccer practice.
I can see myself sitting comfortably behind the wheel on a road trip to Arizona, or California, or Colorado.
I can see myself clearly sitting behind the wheel of a new 2011 Toyota Sienna and I am so happy!

The only reason that that isn’t me in this video is because the van is dark grey instead of silver. I will be sitting behind the wheel of a 2011 silver Toyota Sienna and I am super excited about it :D
When you go to a sporting event here in America the national anthem is played.
Either someone plays it on an instrument, or it is sung by someone.
I’ve been to quite a few sporting events, and although I don’t always like the way the national anthem is played or sung
(because there is always so much embellishment put into it that the song sounds almost like an entirely different song)
I always do my best to sing the national anthem when it’s time to do so.
(I was the only one singing at this baseball game, that I could see anyway)
Here is my problem.
Aren’t we SUPPOSED to be singing it, our heads held high and our hands on our hearts?
Isn’t that the idea.
I’ve never thought we were supposed to just stand there obliviously and listen.
So why is it that when I go to these events when the national anthem is played I am the only one singing.
(I was the only one in my vicinity singing at the rodeo)
AND I SUCK AT SINGING!!!
What is the problem?
Our country may have problems and may not be perfect,
but dang it,
I’m still proud to be an American and I for one am going to keep singing my proud little heart out each time I hear that anthem played.
Join me won’t you….
